Harcor’s specimen bags, also known as biohazard bags, are designed for use in healthcare and laboratory settings. They are compartmentalised to prevent cross infection during transportation of biological specimens (such as blood and urine samples) to the laboratory for testing, with a separate compartment for paperwork.
The company provides printed, clear-coloured, three-layered LDPE bags with a press-top closure. They measure 155 mm wide x 250 mm high, with a thickness of 45 μm, and come in a carton quantity of 2000 bags. Custom printing, sizing and coloured tint options are available to suit each user’s requirements (minimum order quantities apply).
Harcor’s DNA bag includes tamper-evident tape that displays a void message when removed, unlike the standard versions. The DNA bag serves as an example of the company’s more complex custom specimen bags.
