IKATHERM hotplates allow for precise and safe heating and tempering due to a platform made from glass ceramics that ensures good chemical resistance to acids, bases and solvents. This helps in easy cleaning of the heating plate and the device casing.
The hotplates offer a high level of safety due to a fixed safety circuit of 550°C, the Hot Top Indicator, and the digital error code display. The elevated control panel protects the display from spilled liquids.
A digital display shows the exact temperature setting, and an electronic contact thermometer may be connected for highly precise temperature control.
