Kartell Sedi-Rate erythrocyte sedimentation rate system (Art: 88435)

The Kartell Sedi-Rate erythrocyte sedimentation rate system (Art: 88435) comes as a complete kit containing 800 each of the ESR test tubes and also the pipettes. This system allows a rapid and safe execution of the ESR test according to the classic Westergren method.

The system is composed of a pipette tube in PP (12 x 86 mm) that contains 0.2 mL of trisodium citrate with a label indicating the filling line at 1 mL.

The pipette in PS is silk-screened with a graduation scale from 0 to 170 and comes complete with a fibre cap (allowing the blood to reach the 0 level) and with a little piston allowing for quick filling of the pipette thanks to the pressure exerted within the tube.

It is suitable for testing on children and babies as only 0.8 mL of blood is needed to perform the test.

A compatible support rack (Art: 88436) for the Sedi-Rate system is also available. It is a 10-place numbered rack that makes for easy sample identification. This rack can be used to keep both the tube and pipette system in a vertical position during the blood column results.
