Australian Export Awards 2014 now open
The Australian Export Awards, run by Austrade and the Australia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has launched its 2014 program and is looking for Australia’s business success stories.
Winners are selected in 12 national categories, including a ‘Health and Biotechnology Award’, and from these an Australian Exporter of the Year is announced.
The organisers advise that finalists and winners will benefit from participating in the program: networking with other successful exporters; attending events including the finalist master class and awards ceremony; receiving feedback on their application from national judges that can be fed back into their own business plans; and receiving recognition for their outstanding achievements.
Winners will also receive in-market assistance from Austrade in two countries as part of the winners’ package.
The awards are now open and applicants should apply in their state:
- South Australia - closes 11 July
- Western Australia - closes 18 July
- Queensland - closes 30 July
- Victoria - closes 31 July
- New South Wales - closes 18 August
- Tasmania - closes 22 August
- ACT - closes 1 September
- Northern Territory - closes 23 August
