Award nominations open

The Ian Clunies Ross Memorial Foundation has called for nominations for its 2003 National Science and Technology Award.
Established in 1991, the awards have honoured 67 people from every state and territory for their successful application of science and technology for the economic, social or environmental benefit of Australia.
Nominations close on Friday, 26 July. Award recipients will be announced and presented with a silver medal at a formal ceremony and dinner to be held March 2003 in Melbourne.
