Biomedoz to close

Online industry and share market watcher Biomedoz has called it a day. Last week, the site posted a note informing users that it would close "in the next couple of days".
Editor Bengt Norrman lamented the lack of interest realised by the site, from both industry and stakeholders. He described the last four years as "both fun and hard graft", but admitted that the company had failed to elicit a suitable partner to help fund the site and undertake further development.
"Philanthropy and love of the industry started Biomedoz," wrote Norrman. "Indifference and the hard cold facts of today's business environment brought it down. Perhaps there is one piece of hard-earned wisdom that we can share with you: philanthropy and business do not mix very well," he added.
