Monday, 09 February, 2009
Arana Therapeutics has been granted an EU patent for its Evibodies range of small antibodies.
Evibodies were part of the technology platform brought into the company by EvoGenix when it merged with Peptech in 2007.
Evibodies are small fragments of a family of proteins that act like antibodies but are about one-tenth smaller.
They were given a US patent in 2007.
