Forum to chew on alliance issues

A special BioBusiness Forum will be held in Sydney on July 22 to go over issues raised by the recent Biotechnology Alliance signed by the premiers of NSW, Victoria and Queensland.
The dinnertime forum will feature presentations from speakers with different perspectives: NSW Department of State and Regional Development head Loftus Harris, AusBiotech chairman Peter Riddles, and Victoria's biotechnology director Amanda Caples.
Sydney mayor Lucy Turnbull -- who also chairs NSW's ministerial advisory council for biotechnology -- will chair the meeting.
