Genetic Technologies hires new CFO

Genetic Technologies (ASX:GTG) has appointed Eutillio Buccilli as its latest chief financial officer (CFO).

Buccilli has had more than 35 years of senior management experience in the financial services, contracting and recruitment, property and retail industries in both Australia and the USA.

He has previously worked at major companies including Coles Myer, General Electric and Challenger Limited. Through his career, he has accrued financial, corporate governance and commercial experience.

In March, GTG announced the results of a simulation study showing that its BREVAGen breast cancer risk assessment tool is a cost-effective way to direct tamoxifen chemoprevention. The company also entered another settlement and licensing deal as part of its US patent enforcement efforts.

Genetic Technologies (ASX:GTG) shares were trading unchanged at $0.04 as of around 1 pm on Wednesday.
