Richard Opara has withdrawn his request for a extraordinary general meeting at Sydney device company Polartechnics (ASX:PLT), the company announced today.
Opara -- a 12.76 per cent shareholder at Polartechnics -- had called the meeting with resolutions to replace non-executive chairman Colin Sutton and director Neville Hacker with two new directors, himself and Joanne Rees.
Discussions with Opara on the reconstruction of the Polartechnics are ongoing, the company said in a statement.
