ResMed slapped with anti-trust suit in US

Medical device manufacturer, ResMed, has been hit with an anti-trust suit by US firm, Vaughn Medical Equipment, which supplies medical devices to US government agencies.
Vaughn has brought the suit against ResMed and competing medical device manufacturer, Philips Respironics, in order to gain access to their products to fulfil government contracts.
Vaughn specialises in satisfying government contracts, particularly for the Department of Veterans' Affairs and has a Blanket Purchase Agreement which allows multiple purchases to be made by the US government in a streamlined way.
The case was lodged at the Louisiana Eastern District Court in January.
The anti-trust case hasn't negatively impacted ResMed's share price, with it lifting by 3c today to $6.64.
