Support the Australian Innovation & Manufacturing Incentive

Friday, 26 September, 2014

AusBiotech is advocating for the Australian Innovation and Manufacturing (AIM) Incentive as an amendment to the current Australian corporate tax regime and seeks case study examples of Australian businesses that would benefit from such an amendment.

The AIM Incentive would provide a reduction in the tax payable on any profits derived from the commercialisation of qualifying IP in Australia (either via licensing or manufacturing and sale of products incorporating qualifying IP), with the purpose of making the commercialisation of IP and manufacturing in Australia more viable.

To support AusBiotech in making the case for the AIM Incentive to be enacted in law, we are seeking assistance. If you are an Australian company that is supportive of the Australian innovation and manufacturing and want to support the advocacy to the government as a case study, please email Lorraine Chiroiu at lchiroiu@ausbiotech.org for a case study form.
