Victoria Prizes and Victoria Fellowships
Applications for the Victoria Prize for Science & Innovation and the 2014 Victoria Fellowships are open, with two science and innovation programs on offer for 2014.
Victorian Minister for Innovation Louise Asher said two $50,000 Victoria Prizes, one for life sciences and one for physical science, would be offered this year in recognition of leading scientists, innovators and researchers in Victoria.
In addition to the prestigious Victoria prizes, 12 Victoria Fellowships will be offered to support emerging researchers in science, engineering or technology. Each fellow will receive a travel grant of $18,000.
Since 1998, 19 leading Victorian scientists have been recognised with the Victoria Prize and over 100 Fellowships have been awarded.
Applications close on 5 June 2014.
