Ofru Recycling has introduced a solvent recovery system with the ASC-150 that meets the ATEX European safety standard and contains an integrated steam heating system, rather than the conventional thermal oil heating system.

A large distillation boiler is no longer necessary due to this heating method.

The use of steam means that heating of the contaminated solvents is faster, enabling higher distillation rates within a compact machine design and the high cost of providing the thermal oil is saved.

The heating system requires 415 V. The distillation vessel integrates a conical bottom for easy removal of slurry and/or distillation residues.

For cleaning the inner vessel walls, scrapers are installed that are always in full contact with the wall and do not have to be adjusted for wear.

An automatic continuous filling system to allow 24 h operation and a powerful vacuum unit is included and the unit is designed to distil between 200 and 600 L of solvent a day.
