GeneCopoeia Genome-TALER custom TALEN and TALE-TF services

Transcription activator-like (TAL) effectors have been used to create site-specific, gene-editing tools by fusing target sequence-specific TAL effectors to nucleases (TALENs), transcription factors (TALE-TFs) and other functional domains. These fusion proteins can recognise and bind chromosome target sequences specifically and execute their gene-editing functions. TAL effector domains recognise single nucleotides, allowing researchers to specifically target whichever sequence they want.

GeneCopoeia offers several services for designing, creating and validating TALENs, TALE-TFs and other TAL effectors-based targeted genomic modification tools.

Genome-TALER Engineer includes TAL effector design, engineering and sequencing.

Genome-TALER Value includes TAL effector design, engineering and sequencing, along with episomal-level functional validation: in vitro cleavage or surrogate reporter assay.

Genome-TALER Premium includes TAL effector design, engineering and sequencing, along with episomal-level functional validation: in vitro cleavage or surrogate reporter assay. It also includes chromosomal-level functional validation.

Advantages include: targeting any gene in any cell; highly sequence-specific genome target sites; flexible TALEN, TALE-TF and other TAL effector designs; choice of service level; cell-free or cell-based functional validations.
