09 January, 2008 | Supplied by: Rowe Scientific Pty Ltd

The mineralisation units of the DK series digesters are designed for digesting solid and liquid samples in order to determine the nitrogen/protein content according to the Kjeldhal method. Velp digesters are made up of an aluminium heating block which offers good thermal homogeneity, with a maximum working temperature of 450°C. The block's temperature is controlled by dedicated microprocessor electronics. The temperature probe does not require calibration since the electronics performs self-calibration every time the device is turned on. All of this makes it possible to obtain high test precision and repeatability.

Biomedical freezers

09 January, 2008 | Supplied by: Bio-Strategy Pty Ltd

The Sanyo range of biomedical freezers comes in a range of sizes and ensure samples, reagents and extractions are kept safe from potentially damaging freeze/thaw cycles that can occur in domestic style, cyclic defrost units.
