Differential viscometer detector

The Wyatt Technology ViscoStar viscometer is an online chromatography detector for determining specific and intrinsic viscosities. The ViscoStar is claimed to have at least two times the signal-to-noise of products available on the market as well as a proprietary Transducer Protection System (TPS) that prevents accidental damage to sensitive transducer membranes.

This product also includes a software-based pulse dampening correction algorithm that virtually eliminates pump pulses, and the product offers precise temperature control from 4 to 60°C.

The ViscoStar has valve selectable delay volumes (15, 8 and 4 mL) so that the user does not have to open the instrument every time a different solvent is chosen or a different column is added to the chromatography set-up. The ViscoStar comes standard with 18 bit A/D resolution, ethernet and USB communications, and an LCD-based user interface.

The ViscoStar is compatible with all HPLC systems.
