The Auto 306 high vacuum coating system provides the electron microscopist with a high quality vacuum system capable of performing a wide range of different preparation techniques in a single vacuum chamber.

The Auto 306 comes with a PLC controller for easy pump-down, reducing operator errors and enabling confident operation for even inexperienced users. Pump-down times are automatically kept to a minimum. Fully reproducible parameters ensure consistent deposition conditions.

The system controller is fitted in an inclined instrument panel to the right of the chamber. Displays for pressure measurement and system information are easily selected and clearly visible. Optional controls for the source power supplies and other accessories can be conveniently and compactly fitted in the instrument panel. The coating system is offered with a wide range of clean, fast vacuum pumping system. All pump versions are backed by a 12 m3 per hour, two-stage rotary pump with an oil mist filter fitted to the pump output. An activated alumina fore-line trap prevents back-streaming. The coater can be configured for a comprehensive range of different specimen preparation techniques. The modular design of the wide range of chamber accessories allows the system to be easily upgraded at any time in the future.
