Nikon Eclipse Ts2R Inverted Research Microscope
The Eclipse Ts2R from Nikon is an intermediate-sized inverted research microscope designed for a wide variety of applications. Two models are available: a diascopic illumination model, the Eclipse Ts2R, and an epifluorescence illumination model, the Eclipse Ts2R-F.
In addition to conventional contrast methods, the product features versatile observation methods, including phase contrast, DIC and Hoffman modulation contrast. This broad range of observation methods, along with the small body and ease of use, will directly benefit research laboratories and improve workflow.
The microscope provides an emboss contrast technique to support imaging through both plastic and glass culture chambers. Thick samples such as cancer cells, oocytes and embryos, which are difficult to observe with conventional phase contrast methods, can be easily observed with emboss contrast, which provides high-contrast, pseudo-3D images without the need for optical components.
