Monday, 20 May, 2024 | Supplied by: Lastek Pty Ltd

TOPTICA has introduced the FemtoFiber ultra series, the next generation of femtosecond fibre lasers designed specifically for multiphoton microscopy, two-photon lithography and semiconductor inspection. The turnkey, fully integrated and optimised laser system is designed to deliver high performance for the most demanding scientific and industrial applications in the biotech and semiconductor industries.

The series is designed to offer precision and consistency, delivering high average power, good temporal and spatial beam quality, and femtosecond pulses in a compact, rugged package. With the ability to withstand the rigours of advanced imaging and microfabrication, the industrial-grade light engine is suitable for high-end applications. Its seamless operation makes it a versatile solution for multiphoton microscopy and semiconductor inspection.

Available in 780, 920 and 1050 nm, the series is optimised for multiphoton microscopy and two-photon lithography. It features watt-level power with integrated dispersion pre-compensation (GDD) and power control (AOM); plug-and-play installation; and OEM integratability via remote control. Its robust construction enables consistent, high-quality output with fibre laser technology that offers low power consumption, minimal maintenance and longevity.
