WPI’s FluoroDish tissue culture dishes provide high imaging quality for many applications requiring the use of inverted microscopes, such as high-resolution image analysis, microinjection and electrophysical recording of fluorescent-tagged cells. Taking advantage of WPI’s experience with low-toxicity adhesives, FluoroDish petri dishes use a specially formulated adhesive that is optically clear, durable and with low toxicity.
The product features an optical-quality glass bottom for short working distances, large numerical aperture and high magnification. The glass is non-fluorescent, so users can discern weak signals, and the flat bottom optimises heat exchange. Allowing the use of immersion objectives, the product also features low optical distortion with good UV transmission and low cytotoxicity adhesive to enable cells’ survival. The dishes come individually packaged and gamma sterilised.
