Clonetics B-ALI bronchial air liquid interface media

The B-ALI bronchial air liquid interface medium BulletKit provides scientists with a tool to investigate new areas of bronchial epithelial research in a more physiologically relevant way.

By using an air-liquid interface bronchial model, the next-generation tool of in vitro respiratory research, scientists can explore bronchial epithelial cell differentiation and apply therapies in novel ways.

The kit promotes full differentiation of the airway epithelium expressed by the formation of a polarised epithelium with good barrier function (transepithelial resistance), secretory phenotype (mucin secretion) and ciliogenesis.

The Bulletkit is made up of a B-ALI growth and differentiation medium SingleQuot kit, growth basal medium and differentiation basal medium.

The picture shows a profile view of differentiated normal human bronchial epithelial (NHBE) cells grown in B-ALI bronchial air liquid interface BulletKit. Note cilia on apical layer of cells.
