The Sanyo range of Enviro-Centres includes fully featured instruments that come in a range of sizes and ensure samples, reagents and extractions are kept safe. The units can also be used for ensuring equipment is kept at exact temperatures for ideal separation. In a domestic or catering fridge, the temperature can fluctuate between 10-15°C during normal use and vary greatly in uniformity.

Sanyo utilises temperature control systems combined with microprocessor technology to reliably maintain cabinet temperatures at set levels all of the time. Protection features to ensure long-term viability of stored material and processes include high and low temperature alarms, alarm ring back if silenced, remote alarm contacts and access ports for power cords or remote monitoring devices.

Other features such as purpose-built compressors ensure precise temperature control even with frequent door openings, a wide user settable temperature range (2-23°C) and large internal fans ensure temperature uniformity throughout.

Being key lockable the users can ensure the protection of reagents and potentially irreplaceable samples. An internal light and flexible layout add functionality to these instruments. These extremely quiet instruments allow placement directly in a workspace. Sanyo Enviro-Centres come in two sizes: 1364 and 684 L.
