Jenoptik PROGRES GRYPHAX ARKTUR back-illuminated microscopy camera
The PROGRES GRYPHAX ARKTUR camera from Jenoptik is made for routine microscope applications such as pathology, genetics, medicine, biology, chemistry and other life sciences. The camera uses a back-illuminated CMOS sensor made by SONY and provides fast live images at short exposure times, with high-quality colour reproduction in a 2/3″ sensor format with 8 or 2 MP record resolutions.
The product features the ability to capture weak signals; effective photon-to-electron transformation; low dark noise; low dark current; high dynamic range; and a microscopy-optimised field of view. It can display 30 fps at 4K resolution and the largest possible field of view at the monitor, the company says.
The camera’s free software includes features such as a video tool, panorama tool, EDF tool, remote control, measurement and annotation tool, report tool and more. It has an identical user interface on Windows, Linux and MAC OS for an efficient workflow.
