Pure water for clinical analyser laboratories

09 January, 2008 | Supplied by: Thermo Fisher Scientific

Elga Medica pure water systems can provide direct feed to clinical chemistry and immunology analysers used in pathology laboratories. The single box solutions have been purpose-built to power total pure water requirements for clinical pathology laboratories. The units are designed to supply either a single analyser or the total laboratory water requirement by feeding multiple analysers including dispense taps.

Digesters

09 January, 2008 | Supplied by: Rowe Scientific Pty Ltd

The mineralisation units of the DK series digesters are designed for digesting solid and liquid samples in order to determine the nitrogen/protein content according to the Kjeldhal method. Velp digesters are made up of an aluminium heating block which offers good thermal homogeneity, with a maximum working temperature of 450°C. The block's temperature is controlled by dedicated microprocessor electronics. The temperature probe does not require calibration since the electronics performs self-calibration every time the device is turned on. All of this makes it possible to obtain high test precision and repeatability.
